Anonymous asked:

How do you deal with anti-pony activists in Crystal Spires?

“Within Spires it is ‘dealt with’ by education. Ignorance and fear are primary motives behind the Anti-Ponyist movement, and so with education and reassurance we provide comradeship between ponies and ourselves, the result being a warm relationship with ponies and open dismissal of anti ponyism. Racism and Anti-Ponyism are seen as perversions of Socialism, and anti- Communist.”

new-nassrau asked:

Good Afternoon Chancellor! I am New Nassrau's Foreign Minister Uganda Lika, and I would like to ask, what is your current perception of our nation, and also, I know this is random, but what food is your top export of that?

“New Nassrau is quick to act, and loyal enough to ask no questions if it means supporting one’s allies, but is last to actually consider the reasons for jumping into conflict. This is dangerous, but we do not believe it is done with malevolent intent. We are willing to provide international intelligence to them if they desire. As for most exported food, I would say Sugar Cane.”

askaprimeminister asked:

Has any Spirean High Chancellor been involved in any criminal/political scandal? If so what was the political fallout and criminal ramifications from the scandal?

“Indeed I have, at the Time of Sorrows I was charged with treason, and was  nearly executed for professing sapient rights for undead and unbidden creatures. The political ramifications were severe, I almost lost all my support, but those loyal to me later learned the truth of my positions. I regained my public support after the assault on Sylandral in the lands of the High Treefolk and after rebuilding the Uncorruptibles as a force.”

Anonymous asked:

How popular is cycling in Crystal Spires?

“Depends, we have the regular bicycle, motorcycle, quad bikes, and hoverbikes. Most of which are popular among young Spirean boys, and Spirean scouts are gifted a hoverbike when they get their final merit badge.”

askaprimeminister asked:

Does Crystal Spires have any regulation that limit the construction of a particular building/industry on certain land? (e.g. green belts)

“We have specific natural preserves and historic locations which are archeologically significant. We therefore keep our lands pristine in these areas, and untouched with a slight exception to the archeological digs, which are still done with great care.”

ask-nefreedia asked:

Culturally speaking, does Crystal Spireans generally look down on people going to psychologists and/or psychiatrists?

“No, they don’t. I speak from experience with my daughter who struggled with mental illness. A mental illness is merely a chemical imbalance, not a flaw in character, and it generally takes more courage to admit one has a mental illness than a physical one, and it often receives considerable sympathy.”

askaprimeminister asked:

As a communist nation does the state control all media outlets? If so is media concentrated to one outlet or do multiple state owned agencies exist?

“We have Multiple State Regulated entities! We don’t control the content, but we do require certain warnings for things sensible for children as well as some privacy and state security provisions.”
